Layers of fluffy basmati rice layered with marinated pieces of lamb, caramelised onions, thin layers of potato. Softened with rich butter and milk infused with saffron, topped with a Persian influence of pomegranate, almonds and coriander
Accompanied by a tomato based biryani sauce and either 8 samosas or 8 onion bhaji’s, together with a yogurt raita chutney
Delivered chilled in a foil based tray with lid ready to be heated oven in the oven at 180c for 25-30 mins
Ingredients:
BIRYANI (no added gluten): lamb, tomatoes, onions, butter/ghee, garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric, lemon, oil, salt, sugar, water, cloves, cardamom, black cardamom, cassia bark, yogurt, milk, saffron, pomegranate, almonds, fresh coriander.
BIRYANI SAUCE (Vegan, no added gluten) : tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric, lemon, oil, salt, sugar, water, cloves, cardamom, cassia bark, fresh coriander.
SAMOSAS (Vegetarian) : Potato, carrots, peas, sweetcorn, onions, cumin, coriander, Kashmiri chilli, turmeric, salt, lemon, clove and cassia bark; plain flour, oil, milk.
ONION BHAJIS (Vegan, no added gluten) : onion, gram flour, rice flour, ajwain seeds, garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, chilli powder, lemon, oil, salt, water.
RAITA (Vegetarian, no added gluten) : yogurt, cumin, coriander, salt, sugar, fresh coriander, mint
