Saag Paneer is an Indian cheese with spinach and broccoli. Normally Saag is the collective name given to “greens” and palak means spinach. Paneer has a similar consistency to halloumi.
Our take on saag paneer has spinach and broccoli, as well as spice. In this dish the paneer pieces are marinated in spices and sauted before being added to a creamy thick spinach & broccoli based sauce. Hints of onion, garlic and ginger and spices hug the sauce.
Portion size is equivalent to one main or two sides, perfect when scooped up with a chapati (Indian unleavened bread).
